Ads might be coming to ChatGPT.

With over 1.86 billion visits per month OpenAI is aiming straight at Google’s turf, not just as an AI assistant, but as a new kind of search engine.

OpenAI is reportedly exploring a “free user monetization” strategy that could include sponsored responses, meaning businesses could one day pay to show up in AI-generated answers, and we are so ready for it.

🚨 Big Update Coming to Google Search Ads

Big update from Google Ads yesterday, and it’s one that could impact how your business shows up in search results with ads.

Google is rolling out something called AI Max for Search campaigns. Basically Google is trying to make Search feel more like an assistant to end users (similar to ChatGPT), and AI Max is helping advertisers take advantage of that.

It's going to use keyword-less targeting and predictive ad content based on the users activity.

According to Google, cosmetics company L’Oréal doubled their conversion rates and dropped costs by 30% using this feature in beta testing.

Bottom line: AI is changing the way ads work across the board. Google’s making Search more dynamic, and more predictive.

We’ll be testing AI Max on select client campaigns starting later this month once its rolled out.
