Encipher is a performance marketing lead-gen agency specializing in Paid Search and Social. We manage ad spend for clients who demand more than just clicks - they demand profitable, scalable revenue.
We are looking for an Integrations Lead / Media Buyer to join our team. This is a high-impact role designed to relieve our Managing Partner and Head Media Buyer of complex technical duties so they can focus on growth.
Your mission is to take full ownership of our ad-tech stack. You will inherit the complex setups (tracking, scripts, automations) currently handled by head media buyer, stabilize them, and then optimize them.
We don't just want you to maintain what we have. We want you to come to the table and say, "I noticed this process could be more efficient so I built an automation to fix it."
What You Will Own
1. Integrations & Tracking
- Integrations: You are the master of WhatConverts and/or CallRail. You ensure that every lead is dynamically tracked, attributed to the correct Source/Medium/Campaign, and pushed correctly into client's CRM.
- Offline Conversion Tracking (OCT): You will manage the feedback loop between CRMs and ad platforms. You are responsible for sending GCLIDs and hashed user data back to Google/Meta to train their algorithms on real revenue, not just leads.
- Automation: You will build and maintain workflows in Zapier or Make.com to move data seamlessly between platforms without human intervention.
- Scripts: You will implement Google Ads Scripts (using AI tools or raw code) to automate reporting, bid adjustments, negative keyword conflicts, etc...
2. Reporting & Truth-Seeking
- Streamlining Data: Currently, reporting is automated + some manual and time-consuming. You will automate our reporting infrastructure.
- Data Integrity: You are the one who notices when UTMs are stripping out or when Facebook CAPI events aren't matching the pixel. You fix data rot before it kills performance.
3. Strategic Media Buying
- Media Buying with a Tech Edge: You will support the Head Media Buyer in campaign execution. Because you understand the technical setup, you can spot optimization opportunities that pure "strategy" buyers miss.
- Experimentation: You won't just follow orders. You will propose new tests, whether it's a new bidding strategy, or a new AI tool to improve efficiency or anything in between.
Who You Are
- You are Proactive not Reactive: You love taking a messy, broken process and turning it into a smooth, automated machine.
- You speak Technical Integrations: You know what a Webhook is. You understand why passing a GCLID is critical. You are comfortable reading API documentation to connect tool A to tool B.
- You are ambitious: You understand that by relieving the head media buyer of technical duties, you become indispensable. You want to grow into a role where you define the technical SOPs for the entire agency as we grow.
Required Tech Stack
- Ad Platforms: Google Ads (Deep knowledge of Scripts/Automated Rules), Meta Ads (CAPI experience).
- Automation Tools: Zapier, Make.com.
- Landing Pages: ClickFunnels, WordPress, etc...
- Tracking: CallRail, WhatConverts, Google Tag Manager, GA4.
- Data: Offline Conversion Tracking, UTMs, Webhooks + API's.
